I’m Nicole, a freelance video editor and photographer based in NYC with a passion for documentary storytelling and live music performance. Before going freelance, I worked on video teams at NPR Music and The New Yorker, where I captured everything from concerts and acoustic sessions to breaking news and artful documentary pieces. Since then, I’ve worked to create cutting-edge video across genres, from human interest to branded content. Some of my clients include Netflix, Facebook, and New York City’s YMCA, and my photography and music writing have been published in The Aquarian Weekly, Honey Punch Mag, and Alternative Press. This year, I'm directing and editing my first documentary film about Paralympian Gerard Moreno.
As a multi-passionate creative, I often feel like if I don't create, I'll explode. I am fascinated by the human condition and all of its breathtaking, heartbreaking beauty. It is my goal to tell authentic stories that foster empathy and connection.
Now it’s your turn! I’d love to hear from you. Head on over to my Contact page to get the conversation started.
